Unadvertised Crest Extra Buck Deal Week of 9/11

Crest Scope 2.7 oz. toothpaste is $2.49 and is giving $2 extra bucks this week with a limit of two.  It is not in the ad so if there is no sign in your store the cashier will not be able to print your extra buck if it does not automatically print.  There was also a regional coupon for $2 that is reported to work for this deal making it a money maker:Crest Complete Toothpaste, Scope Dual Blast Rinse, Oral-B Complete Floss or Oral-B Complete Toothbrush, any 9-11-11 SS.  Thanks to Yoli159 @ We Use Coupons for the heads up.

CVS Scanner Coupons Printing the Week of 9/11/2011

The CVS scanner is printing off coupons for free Crackerfuls or Newton Thins (value $2.50).  Many stores are already out of them. Today was truck day at my store and they already didn't have any.  They were substituting with the Pop Chips or the Absolutely Divine cookies because they are both $2.50 this week.  Some readers have commented that their store was substituting other items.  Other readers said they were told they would honor the coupon when they came in even though it would be expired.  My manager said I could get a rain check to get them.  So if your store is out, ask if they will substitute something or honor them when they have stock.

Tosha, a Simply CVS reader, let me know there is a $1/1 Colgate Optic White Printable Coupon at CVS.com.  Go to the home page and click on the scrolling ads--I found it under #4 Tosha found it under #5.  This week it is pay $3.49 get $1.50, next week it is pay $3.99 get $1.50 limit 2.  I am not sure if this a CVS coupon--it does not say Manufacturer coupon, nor does it say how the store is to get redeemed, it says use at CVS, but also the UPC starts with a 5 which is usually a manufacturer coupon.  (that was a lot of help, I know).
