My CVS Shopping Trip for the Weekly Ad of 6/5

I was in a hurry at CVS this week as well as needed some items that were on sale but not on extra buck deals so my out of pocket was much higher, but I still saved overall.  I did do two transactions and rolled $5 worth of extra bucks over to save that $5 out of pocket cost.  I could have done more, but was in a hurry and decided it wasn't worth it.  Since I pay with free CVS gift cards I earn online from Swagbucks I saved 100%; but it is hard to look at it that way.

The members at We Use Coupons are reporting receiving $3/$10 Cosmetic purchase coupons at the scanner this week. So if you are planning on a Cosmetic purchase be sure and scan your card.  If you were not going to do some of the Cosmetic deals this week because of out of pocket cost, double check them and see if with this it will help.  It looks like this is one that will print each day and expires the next day. EDIT NOTE:  A reader on Simply CVS Facebook just said she did not get this one, so it may not be an every card coupon.

CVS Deal Alert: Free John Freida and Money Maker with Regional Coupons and Extra Bucks

The following Extra Buck Deal is sweeter if your region got the $5/1 John Frieda full repair treatment, styler or finisher coupon in the SmartSource insert.  These are being report to be ringing up @ $5 (I would scan each one you wanted to get to be sure it is a $5 one) and you buy two and get $3 extra bucks.  So if you have 2 coupons you can get them free and $3 back.  These also count towards the Beauty Club.
